C# 4.0, CLR 4.0 and .NET 4.0 - the most important enhancements are the integration of dynamic languages, which is also good for the integration of COM.
The Task Parallel Library makes the development of applications with more threads easier. Additionally there are also new synchonised collection classes.
The Managed Exensibility Framework (MEF) is a framework to reload parts of hosting applications dynamic.
Also in other parts like WCF and WPF are some changes - and a completely new Windows WorkflowFoundation 4.0.
