WPF - Take Off Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF, also known as Avalon) is a component of the .NET Framework 3.0 and Microsoft's new API for interface programming of windows applications. WPF sets up on DirectX and allows to develop resolution-independent applications with animations, videos and 3D. You will hear more about Data Binding, which sets milestones in the efficieny of deployment compared to other technologies (e.g. windows forms) In 3 days with Avalon you receive the tools to deploy windows applications with WPF.
